Description

Its life cycle is completed in 7 days at 27 degrees. Each female lays 2-4 eggs per day and 53 eggs in her lifetime. It feeds on an average of 20 agents per day.

The adult feeds on all life stages of the two-spot mite, but the nymphs feed only on eggs and nymphs.
The daily prey of this predator is about 20 eggs or mite larvae, 13 protonymphs or 5 adults.
At a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius and less than 60%, this predator has difficulty and shrivels below the soil surface.

When the first two-spot is observed, the predator mite (Phytoseiulus persimilis) is released specifically on and from plants.

Environmental conditions: Relative humidity should be above 75% and at most temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius.
